Duties/Responsibilities:
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Administer the departmental Revenue accounts: Provide banking management of petty cash services. Administer the departmental tax function. Administer and monitor the departmental Debts. Provide financial systems support.
Qualifications and Experience:
REQUIREMENTS: A 3-year NQF level 6/7 National Diploma/Degree or higher qualification in Financial Accounting/ Management Accounting. A minimum of 1-year experience in the relevant field.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Required
COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS: Knowledge of preferential procurement policy framework act (PPPFA), Basic accounting system (BAS), Knowledge of the PERSAL System, Sound knowledge of Service Delivery Principles (Batho Pele), Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulation, Public Service Regulations, Provincial Treasury Practice Notes, Supply Chain Management, KZN Supply Chain Policy Framework, SCM practice notes, PFMA and Treasury Regulations, Preferential Regulation.
