Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma or BCom with Financial Accounting as a Major Subject
- MFMA Knowledge
- Computer Literacy (MS Office)
- 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare necessary documents for the compilation of CAPEX and OPEX budget to ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Ensure effective budget monitoring of financial processes for financial administration and reporting purposes
- Provide administrative support to Senior Manager during the budget process
- Ensure that completed work adheres to governance and legislative requirements
- Perform Financial processes eg investigating and reporting on audit queries, adhering to departmental processes, overseeing the preparation of the budgets and financial reports and adhering to policies and SOPs.
- Render asset management functions to the department.
